i dont like the word mucking, so i will say testing. I have seem him using "cheats" (dev tools), namely this one that prevents you from dying, and another one to spawn healing salves. However i don't agree with him when he says that it always kill the player experience, with no middle ground unless he meant using the cheats to advance in the game. If someone that never played this game is interested in using this tool, i would recommend him against it. If i were dev of this game i would say the same, because something like this kills the experience if you haven't completed it. Yeah he made a valid point, and i completely understand his concern about people not playing the game as they designed it.

If the devs consider that this a bad thing, they just have to let me know and i will delete the link and will never post any other unofficial tool.Ĭlick to expand. Thanks for bringing it Tin.

Meanwhile i will welcome any tool, mod or cheat like this one. I expect this game have a console with debug settings at some point too. Most of the users wont know it is there, and some who does wont use it because lets get real, whoever who search about it knows perfectly it is not the intended way to play. God-mode doesn't kills part of the essence of the game, skyrim have an OFFICIAL command to enable a god-mode via console, among many other cheats.
Exanima mods health how to#
Who i am to tell someone how to play or not to play a game? I can see it used as a cheat too, but still that's legit to me. I can think of many "legit" uses for it, like recording a machinima without have to try something over and over, have you seen the 1vs10 video?. I also disagree in it being a game breaker or destroying anybody work.
Exanima mods health free#
If i buy a game (specially a DRM free game) i expect to be able to mess the content as much as i can, it is so different from stealing in so many ways. I learned what worked best for me was holding a torch/weapon as my secondary, and a onehanded/shield for my primary. They seem to have nothing against the unofficial save tool so i don't see why this is different. A hotbar would help with item usage, but that would probably piss off the hardcores ) That's the trick isn't it? The dungeons are literally pitch black in some areas and it's extremley cumbersome to navigate the inventory while trying to defend yourself from crazed zombies who seem to never run out of stamina. You do have to control your ground a bit better and pick places with enough light to go torchless but I find I can put things down much faster. That carries me to the rusty long sword and from there it's all split heads.

Really? I use almost exclusively 2 handed weapons in the dungeon, starting with the iron bar of doom which you can find before you encounter the very first zombie. at least that's what the voices in my head tell me. It can be maddeningly frustrating, but with madness comes reward. I'm really enjoying the gradual learning drip of this game. The dungeon of the campaign has been more difficult to adapt to (not as much room to maneuver). I too have noticed that 2-handed weapons work well in the arena.

In the Arena, I much prefer 2h weapons, but in the tight corridors of the dungeon, I havent used anything other than the short sword you pick up in the second section of lvl 1. That barrel top you pick up in the spawn room will last you all the way to the armoury, where you find better shields. Once I got into the armoury on lvl 3, taking health damage was pretty rare. I was down to about 1/2 health at the end of level 1, but didnt need to use the salve until the begining of 3. Once you get to level 2, you start finding some better armour, which makes combat a bit easier (you tend to take more stamina damage than health).
